LONG BOARD TV LAUNCHED ON FUEL TV, THE ONLY 24/7 US ACTION SPORTS NETWORK
SOLANA BEACH, Calif. - Long Board TV, the first and only national TV series devoted exclusively to long board surfing, is now airing this summer on Fox's new digital network, FUEL TV.
Produced by Opper Sports Productions and hosted by Wingnut, star of "Endless Summer 2," Long Board TV is presented in the classic surf movie style with profiles of world-class surfers, shapers and legends of the sport. The premiere season includes insightful profiles of world champions Bonga Perkins, Colin McPhilips, and Beau Young, and top women long boarders such as Kassia Meador, Maureen Drummy and Mary Bagealso. LBTV also ventures back in time with legends Greg Noll, Nat Young, and Mike Doyle, and goes on surfari to such travel destinations as the thumping coral reefs of North Shore Oahu and the perfect rock point breaks of Australia's Gold Coast.
LBTV is the directorial debut for Justin Krumb of Opper Sports Productions. "Long Board TV highlights the places and players in long boarding today," explains Krumb. "From profiles and gatherings, to spot checks and shapers, LBTV draws you into this organic, homegrown culture that is at the heart of surfing today. Long boarding is fun and this show represents that!"
